How does your ticket support NOLA's efforts?
Our Keep the Beat Project utilizes a holistic approach to tackle the issue of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, particularly from a health equity perspective. Our primary objective is to improve awareness of SCA, the leading cause of death among student-athletes. By educating our community on recognizing SCA as it occurs, understanding its warning signs, and identifying risks, we aim to eliminate preventable deaths due to SCA.

Additionally, our initiative focuses on increasing access to preventative and responsive services. We offer low-cost heart screenings, ECGs, and EKGs for children and young adults aged 12-24. Collaborative partnerships with school districts allow us to provide CPR training for students and certifications for community members across South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. We are committed to addressing resuscitation disparities by offering bilingual CPR training and certifications at affordable rates while strategically engaging with stakeholders in rural, low-income, and underserved communities to ensure broad access to these vital services.
